About the job

As a project manager in water and wastewater at HEMAB, you play an important role in the future development of Härnösand. You are responsible for driving various projects from project order to project completion, ensuring that set goals within the framework of budget, quality, time, and scope are achieved.

The projects vary in size, and you will manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also contribute technical support within the unit and have extensive contact with other employees within the water and wastewater business at HEMAB and the municipality, as well as consultants, contractors, and customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing technical solutions and economic calculations for reinvestment projects and other water and wastewater projects
• Managing projects from order to completion, which includes being responsible for timelines, holding project meetings, purchasing, establishing sites, and arranging excavation permits
• Representing HEMAB in projects jointly managed with Härnösand Municipality
• Collaborating with other key stakeholders such as the Swedish Transport Administration, property owners, and consultants
• Managing deviations from governing documents, financial reporting, etc.
• Participating in coordination meetings with the municipality and other stakeholders
• Procurement or ordering of consultants and contractors
• Ensuring compliance with technical standards

In this role, you will be part of the unit's management team.

About you

To be successful in this role, you likely have a post-secondary education in a relevant field, combined with work experience in water and wastewater. You have experience managing projects and preferably knowledge of regulations and standards within the water and wastewater sector. We also expect you to be computer literate as you will be working with HEMAB's various digital tools.

As a person, you are structured and prioritize your tasks effectively. To succeed in this role, you have a solution-oriented and proactive approach with the ability to make quick decisions when necessary.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
